- My name is Angie Camilleri and I am the Owner of Anaste Hair & Beauty. I first started hairdressing at the age of 16 and have been a hairdresser now fulltime for 30 years. I worked in St Kilda at "Hair179" where I started and finished my 4 year apprenticeship, then stayed for a following year afterwards. Whilst working in St Kilda I worked with talented hairdressers whom were my mentors. It gave me the experience in working with different personalities and styles as St Kilda has it all! I then worked in Moonee Ponds at "SAS Hairdressing", Bundoora at "Kas Hair Studio" and worked for Hairhouse Warehouse in salon and in retail. This allowed me to learn more and further my knowledge on what is best for your hair to maintain excellence and also gave me the confidence in choosing an individual Haircut, Colour and Style that will best suit. After having children I decided to start working from home where I built a really beautiful salon and it became very busy. It was called Anaste Hair & Makeup Studio. Whilst working from home, I always updated my skills to make sure I kept myself up to date with fashion. I won two Hairstyling competitions in a row and was named "Magnificent Miss-Hairstylist of the Year" 2013 and 2014 which I was most proud of. I worked at home for 7 years and I finally took the step towards what I have been wanting to do and that is...Opening my own shop in Gisborne, we changed the name to Anaste Hair & Beauty, and here we are! We are now not only a hair salon, we are a hair & beauty supplier offering a big range of products and colour for you to do at home.

My name is Amanda, i have been a hairdresser for 27 years. I started at 13 years old. I have done many hair competitions and hair shows that i thoroughly enjoyed. I still very much love what i do. For me looking great and feeling great about yourself is so important and that can start with fabulous hair, i love seeing my clients walk out

I personally love how creative my job is and the freedom i have to express myself also is very liberating.

I am currently in my 2nd Year Apprenticeship and am loving being on the salon floor and learning new things, I have always had a passion for hair ever since I was a little girl, I always watched mum doing amazing things to clients hair and making them feel good about themself and that's when I knew I wanted to become a hairdresser and follow my mums footsteps, I have a dream of owning my own hair and beauty salon and hopefully my dreams come true. I am doing many services already, these include colour, foils, blowaves, curls, makeup and soon to be doing more beauty services.
